Roses in Blue

We want to wish a big congratulations to Alexa and Adam! They were married in Williamsburg with gorgeous views of Manhattan from this weekend. They chose our Roses design, but wanted to modernize the typography a bit to fit in with their cool Brooklyn vibe. A pale blue colored envelope sets off the blue type and tinted embossed floral pattern.

Hamptons Vineyard Wedding

We designed these invitations for a wedding at the Wolffer Estate Vineyard last year, and they have us dreaming of sipping some rosé in the summer sun. We used our Vineyard invitation template and added some extra details, like green painted leaves on the invitation, and an envelope liner featuring the same vintage map of Long Island that we used on the Save the Dates. The dusty blue and soft green inks look beautiful together on warm white paper.

English Country House Wedding

Congratulations to Lorien & John for their wedding across the pond this week! This lovely couple chose to use our Pictorial design with imagery to match their wedding at a beautiful country home. The soft blue-green and gray colors of this design have us dreaming of the English countryside in the spring.

Blossoms Invitations for a Catskills Wedding

This Blossoms wedding invitation set is one of our favorites this summer! The color palette is beautiful and perfectly captures the calm of a wedding in the mountains of upstate New York. We used a vintage map of the Catskills area as a liner, inside some deep green envelopes.

Congratulations to Nell and Ryan on their wedding! They were a joy to collaborate with on their gorgeous invitations.

Jamaican Wedding Suite

Congratulations Anneke and Patrick on the wedding this weekend! We don't get enough opportunities to print jellyfish on wedding stationery! Destination wedding like this Jamaican celebration are especially fun to work on! We started with our Pictorial design and customized this with the images of coral, jellyfish, starfish and the octopus. The ink colors here are coral and navy and we've added a bright tissue envelope liner for an extra jolt of color.

Blue Rose Wedding Invitations

Congratulations to Toni & Yuri, who were just married this October! We designed and printed the beautiful invitations for their fall wedding at The Inn at Barley Sheaf Farm. They liked a couple of our wedding designs so much that we ended up combining the elements. We used the pale rose illustrations, and paired them with the layout of our Downtown design. The deep blue ink, paired with the modern font choice made the design feel brand new.

Elegant Long Island Wedding

We worked with a wonderful couple to create these elegant invitations for their wedding this summer. The beautiful swashes of the script font, paired with a sweet dotted border is simply beautiful! We found a vintage map of Long Island that worked perfectly as an envelope liner. The whole set was letterpress printed in a lovely dusty blue, custom matched to the bridesmaids' dresses.

Black Tie Wedding in Blue at the Museum of Natural History

Kate & Michael were great to work with on their modern black tie wedding invitations. Their wedding reception was held at the Museum of Natural History in NYC, so they wanted to add a touch of fun that related to the venue, hence the dinosaur and elephant. Our Hudson template was a great design to start with, as it is a mix of classic and modern. We updated it with some bright colors in green and blue ink, with green edge painting on the invitation card.

The letterpress envelope liner for this set is so unique! Kate & Michael wanted to reference the planetarium at the museum, so we printed a vintage illustration of mapped out constellations. It's such a fun surprise when guests open these invitations.

Mother's Day

Mother's Day is coming up this Sunday, so don't forget to show your mother some much deserved love! If you want to surprise her with something really thoughtful, a set of custom stationery is always a wonderful gift. We have gift certificates available, so she can pick out a design that suits her perfectly.

Flowers are always perfect gift, and so are our floral coasters. You can find a variety of these, as well as letterpress printed cards Mother's Day cards in our online shop. We can gift wrap anything and ship directly to your mom.

Rabbit Letterpress Bookmark

We printed these sweet letterpress bookmarks celebrating the release of a book by Brooke Dierkhising called Many Ways to See the Sun. The illustrations of the rabbit and feather were originally watercolors, and they look beautiful printed in this cheerful blue.

Here's a close up of the bookmark while on press. The blue ink is so striking on the rollers and the plate, but softens a bit when printed on a warm white paper.

Nautical Save the Date

We're in the midst of working on many letterpress wedding suites right now, as these summer weddings will be here before we know it! We love the combination of a vintage map and classic script type on this nautical save the date. The map is printed in a pale dusty blue and the information in strong navy blue, with a sweet little heart to mark the location of the wedding. It's a simple design, but we think it's perfect for a summer wedding in the Hamptons!
