We want to wish a big congratulations to Alexa and Adam! They were married in Williamsburg with gorgeous views of Manhattan from this weekend. They chose our Roses design, but wanted to modernize the typography a bit to fit in with their cool Brooklyn vibe. A pale blue colored envelope sets off the blue type and tinted embossed floral pattern.
Congratulations to Laura and Daniel on their wedding this beautiful, spring weekend! So often we use beautiful floral illustrations on wedding invitations, but this couple wanted something a little different. These ferns and fronds, printed in a mix of black ink and a blind emboss, are a nice alternative for an early Spring wedding.
We’re excited to announce our collaboration this fall with the Hoxton Hotel in Williamsburg. To celebrate the new location, the Hoxton invited a selection of Brooklyn artists to create a limited edition product inspired by and made in the neighborhood. The collection, “Best of Brooklyn” celebrates the creative spirit and makers in our borough.
We love collaborations as they’re an opportunity to push ourselves creatively. We decided to print sets of note cards highlighting some our favorite spots in the neighborhood for drinks, music, sightseeing. Traditional hotel stationery was used by guests while staying in hotel rooms. We’ve designed our set to match the colors of the hotel’s interior but function like a scavenger hunt, sending guests outside. Each card features an image cross-streets in the surrounding area, encouraging people to walk around to discover each site. We hope people will find their own favorite Williamsburg spots in the process!
We’re really honored to be included in this collection and definitely recommend visiting the hotel for a drink or dinner and to pick up a couple special, locally-made products, especially with the holidays on the horizon! You can also visit the Hoxton’s site to shop the collection and learn more about the other makers.
All of the suites in our collection are designed to be customized to complement each couple's wedding style. Our Hudson suite has a minimal, sophisticated style that is particularly nice for a wedding in the city. Here are examples of how two couples personalized this design for their weddings this summer.
Congratulations to Karina and Alejandro on their wedding this weekend! Their wedding invitations are unique and modern, just like their wedding venue, an industrial artist studio and gallery space in Brooklyn.
Congratulations to Rachel and Brian on their wedding this weekend. We loved customizing our Vintage NYC design for their wedding at the Liberty Warehouse here in Brooklyn.
Congratulations to Lisa and William who were just married this weekend! We loved working on their Gatsby inspired invitations, and all the fun details that were included. The California themed favor tags are so sweet!
We share a lot of photos of the stationery we're printing so for a change, we've decided to step back and show some pictures of our studio and printing presses.
We do all of our own letterpress printing here in the Brooklyn studio. Doing this ourselves allows us to really pay attention to each piece that passes through the press and be certain that it matches the design we've created. It is important to us that our stationery is perfect as it has to represent the people who will be writing on and sending it. Having control in the printing helps us ensure this.
Plus, we like making things and it’s immensely satisfying to start the day with stacks of blank paper and finish it with stacks of beautiful stationery!

We designed and printed a new set of NYC themed stationery to celebrate Earth Day this year. These notecards are bright and cheerful with iconic bits of our fair city as the inspiration. Pink pigeons, blue bikes and a perfectly green Statue of Liberty shine bright on brilliant white paper. Each set comes with one of each five cards and a matching blank envelope. Pick one up in our online shop here!
These letterpress invitations were for a wedding at the Glasserie, a former glass factory, converted to a rustic-cool venue in Greenpoint, Brooklyn. Little illustrations, like the Brooklyn Bridge, a taxi cab and a frosty mug of beer topped off each card, a nice counter to the formal script font. Forest green and charcoal gray ink were the perfect choice for this early fall wedding.
We love this Brooklyn Bridge illustration with the heart hovering above, and its such a sweet touch to any wedding invitations in Brooklyn.
We love the blending of modern fonts and vintage illustrations in this floral wedding invitation. Designed for a wedding in Brooklyn at the beautiful Wythe Hotel, these invites are gorgeous and cool. The oversized cards feature vintage floral bouquet, printed in a summery green. The couple's names are emphasized in that same green and a more formal font. For the envelope liner, we created a monogram, enveloped by flowers.
We recently printed some letterpress greeting cards for one of our favorite companies, Warby Parker. We love their eyeglasses and sunglasses, so we were excited to collaborate with them on some note cards for their new Brooklyn location. Each set has 4 different designs, which feature really cute illustrations of New Yorkers with great eyewear by Joana Avillez. They're a really lovely set for anyone who enjoys sending and receiving snail mail.
We love working with small, local businesses, especially ones that share a love of the handmade. We printed these letterpress cards for Brooklyn Herborium, a shop started by two Brooklyn moms who wanted to create a line of skincare products that were healthy and environmentally friendly. Their design is simple and sweet, with a great floral and herb illustration.
We printed these lovely wedding invitations for a designer client for their summer wedding. We love a combination of matte gold and rich black ink and it looks spectacular on this design. The art deco inspired details give these invitations a vintage feeling, and set the tone for a luxe event.
We love working with couples from New York on their wedding invitations. It's always fun to see where they'll be holding their event, since we're often familiar with the venues. These letterpress wedding invitations are for a Brooklyn couple, who wanted to keep their design simple and clean. We added the subway car as a nod to their daily commute and a vintage new York map as an envelope liner. All the pieces were printed in a dark charcoal gray for a little twist on classic black.
These letterpress birthday invitations were so fun to design and print. Our client, Christine, threw a surprise party for her husband's 40th, and wanted to send out fun and bright invites. We loved her idea of a big bowl of spaghetti and meatballs with a candle sticking out. It's the perfect image for an Italian style birthday dinner.
We designed this fun map, highlighting a few key places for guests of the party. The minimal design fits in perfectly with the invitation and information card. All of the cards were edge painted in bright red, to match the bowl of spaghetti.
Moving can be such hard, but rewarding work. We love to make your life just a tiny bit easier by printing beautiful moving cards for you. This design is perfect for anyone moving locally in Brooklyn, with this beautiful, vintage illustration of the Brooklyn Bridge as the feature. Reach out to us for pricing and more information about custom cards for your next change of address card.
We're excited to share images from a vintage Coney Island wedding photo shoot featuring one of our recent letterpress wedding invitations.
The styling features our favorite marriage of vintage details and designs with bright pops of color. We love all of the Brooklyn wedding designers' work - the flowers, the pink rock candy and especially the "His, Hers, Ours" decanter set from our dear friends at Love & Victory.

We've added a new New York City invitation to our wedding collection. This set pulls elements from vintage maps, iconic landmarks and every day life in the city. This design proves that even pigeons can be sweet when letterpressed in gold ink. We think the combination of elements, in classic black and gold ink, makes a really lovely NYC themed invitation suite!
Love the design, but live in another city? We can customized these invitations for your location, too. If you're interested, email us the details and we'll find iconic images that reflect your city.
