Congratulations to Sarah & Adam on their wedding in NYC this past weekend! We’ve collaborated with them over the past few months to create their a suite of wedding cards based on our Cities design. We began with a Save the Date card, featuring a tinted image of a vintage NYC map in the background, and used this map on envelope liners for the invitations and thank you notes as well. All of their pieces (including table numbers, escort cards, programs and menus!) were printed in Navy ink and were inspired by New York’s iconic landmarks.
We printed these beautiful pieces for a wedding reception in the Catskills. They match our Blossoms design with the sweet floral wreaths on the place cards and table numbers. Robyn Wylde, a calligrapher that we often work with did a wonderful job lettering the names and numbers onto these pieces. We love the continuity of these cards that match the invitations at a reception.
One thing that everyone looks forward to at a wedding is the delicious dinner that's being prepared for them. As stationers, we really appreciate all the extra handmade touches on the day of the wedding, so we love when we get to design and print dinner menus. Sometimes, the best part of the process is drooling over all the courses that will be served!
We often print table numbers and escort cards, as well. It's a fun way to pull an design element from your invitations or an illustration that reflects your venue.
Once a couple have received their printed invitations, it's often time to start thinking about reception stationery. It's really nice for us to continue working with clients on their wedding programs, escort cards, menus and other pieces. We can draw out themes from the invitation to use across these items.
Our Under the Sea design with its vivid octopus motif works really well on these menus, table cards and escort cards:
We like how the wave illustration adds a slightly different look to the set.
At the other end of the spectrum, our subtle Pale Florals set allows for some really pretty additional pieces that feature blind embossing on the menu and escort card envelope:
Thinking about your reception stationery alongside your invitations is a great way to create a unified look across your whole wedding: from the anticipation of the event to the big day itself!
We really love being featured in any Martha Stewart magazine or website. We are over the moon to have our stationery included in a photo story about Justine and Eamonn's wedding. They are a really glamorous couple (just check out her stunning Jenny Packham wedding dress - swoon!). So we wanted to work with them to design an invitation and stationery suite that would reflect the vibe of their summertime New York wedding.
We especially love the bespoke coat of arms that features on the invitation! It was designed especially to reflect the couple...
