A big congratulations to a Melissa and Kevin, who were recently married in Brooklyn! Their invitations are classic, with a subtle nod to Brooklyn. We printed their invitations in a combination of dusty blue, charcoal and a pale tint for the image of the Brooklyn Bridge. The overall effect is romantic and formal, perfectly fitting their winter wedding.
Congratulations to Katy and William on their wedding today! We have loved working with this family over the course of a year to design and letterpress print their wedding stationery. This is a perfect example of a traditional invitation design with a bit of humor. The invitation card is very classic in design but the addition of the sweet fox on the save the date card and website card adds a bit of levity to the suite.
We wish them all the best on this happy day!
While going through our archives of past weddings, we came across these winter themed invitations. We are still in love with the combination of formal fonts and the vintage illustrations of pinecones and pine trees. The monogram inside the set of antlers has that perfect rustic feeling! We always like printing in charcoal gray ink, as it has a nice softened effect, especially on this natural white paper.
Here's a sneak peek of a wedding suite we worked on this winter. We're in love with the bright yellow painted edges on the invitation cards! It's such an unique wedding color, that catches your eye right away. Stay tuned for more shots of this Park City letterpress suite...
Our newest letterpress holiday card is available in our online shop now. We love this bright red cardinal, perched on a branch dotted with holly berries. The stark white paper gives the appearance of a snowy day for this beautiful bird. These cards come in sets of 8 with matching white envelopes. We have lots of other letterpress designs available for your annual holiday mailing.
This invitation suite is one of our favorite styles as it incorporates a rustic theme with an elegant design, befitting a wedding. All the pieces are printed in a charcoal gray which gives the set a formal appearance.
The pine cones on the information card accentuated the rural nature of their winter wedding. The bride and groom wanted their wedding suite to reflect their bucolic venue. The Cork Factory Hotel is in historic downtown Lancaster, PA in a building that once housed a cork and glass company.
We can just imagine relaxing cozily by a fire, in between the ceremony and the reception, with a hot toddy in hand. What a wonderful way to spend a December weekend!
Last year, one of our clients got a couple of wonderful Christmas presents: newborn twins! We worked with her to design and print a lovely, festive birth announcement which celebrated the new arrivals:
The combination of bright red and matte silver is perfect for the holiday season and we love how the image works perfectly for the family!
It seems crazy to even mention the upcoming holiday season after a beautiful weekend in New York, but here goes... We have been printing our holidays cards (when not outside enjoying the unseasonably warm weather) and are happy to announce that these are now available through our online store. We have boxed cards with pretty colored envelopes and also new enclosure cards with little mini envelopes. We've come up with a design for city dwellers, woodland animal fans, poinsettia enthusiasts, candy lovers and those with traditional holiday tastes. We hope there is something for everyone. If there is anything we've missed, please let us know as we're always looking for new holiday ideas!
We always love printing baby announcements because the images and colors are so sweet and happy. This snowy sledding design is one of our favorites!
