We recently collaborated with the Whitney Museum of Art and tattoo artist, Amanda Wachob to letterpress print these sweetheart prints. Based on Amanda's February residence in the Whitney Shop, this letterpress print depicts every piece of the love poem she tattooed on thirty individuals.

Inspired by the artists Njideka Akunyili Crosby (b. 1983) and Byron Kim (b. 1961), whose work was included in Human Interest: Portraits from the Whitney’s Collection, Wachob conceived of this poem using designs found in the archives of the New England Confectionery Company and text decontextualized from historic expressions used on their iconic Sweetheart candies.
