Gatsby Pigeons Wedding

We have had a very busy spring, but recently had time to sift through our collection of last year’s weddings. These gorgeous fall leaf invitations stuck out to us because they are simple, modern and in a beautiful shade of blue. They were designed based on our Ferns invitations, with maple leaves as the invite imagery, to highlight the autumn foliage in Vermont. The set also includes a rehearsal dinner card, with an illustrated wheel of cheese, and a welcome party card with an adorable corkscrew icon. We were also lucky to create say of stationery for Alejandro and Leah, including wedding menus, table numbers, programs, and escort cards, all in a slate blue ink.
This gorgeous bookmark is a wonderful example of a unique Save the Date. This book loving couple paired romantic roses with their literary theme in a custom bookmark card. We love the subtle detail of the flowers, contrasting with a dark gray ink. A dusty rose envelope adds another layer of color to the design that we love. Creating and printing interesting designs like this makes our days in the shop very fun.
Congratulations to Jo-Ann and Michael on their wedding in Brooklyn this weekend! The Boathouse at Prospect Park is a gorgeous venue for a fall wedding. We designed their invitations based on our Hudson design, with a custom illustration of the boathouse as a beautiful accent. Their invitation cards were printed in sage green, with gold bee website cards - a pretty and cool fall color combination.
Although this design was from a year ago, we still love the combination of soft ginger and rich black ink. The Hudson design was set off with NYC icons, like the Brooklyn Bridge and subway car, customizing it to it’s urban venue. The set began with Save the Dates, printed with a vintage map of the city, and was completed with custom thank you notes with the couple’s names.
Congratulations to Laura and Kyle on their wedding in the Hamptons this weekend! We just love their custom monogram, marrying a floral wreath with a lighthouse. It ties all of the elements of the Hamptons together in a special way. Their set was based on our Blossoms design, with the sweet dotted border and romantic font combination. Our favorite part is the Weekend Timeline card, especially the book and cocktail illustrations for the welcome party at a library - what a unique venue!
The summer has flown past us, and as we were looking through all of our wedding sets, we came across this beauty! This couple chose our Elegant Monogram design and added some illustrative elements to the other pieces in the set. The black tie optional invite looks perfectly formal in navy ink, and the sailboat, Brooklyn Bridge and champagne glasses provide great contrast printed in slate blue ink. Doesn’t a sunset cruise in NYC sound such a special wedding event?
The theme of this summer’s weddings seems to have been Maritime, and we never tire of printing this beautiful wave illustration. This set was for a couple getting married in Sag Harbor, so the ocean and whale elements align with their theme perfectly. The whole design was printed in slate blue ink on warm white paper in a modern font. We especially like the addition of the hydrangea on the RSVP card, as it softens the entire look.
