A belated congrats to Leah and Michael on their wedding in Brooklyn this summer. They chose an awesome venue and wanted their invitations to reflect the city, with a silhouette of the NYC skyline. Their response cards feature a cute silhouette of a taxi cab on top. These invitations were printed in rich black ink on warm white paper.
Congratulations to Sarah and James! We are in love with these tinted wildflower invitations in shades of blue. A September wedding in Vermont sounds like a dreamy way to end the summer.
A big congrats to Emily & Ian on their wedding in sunny, Southern California! They loved our Hudson design, in the original blush and black inks, with a pale pink lined envelope. They wanted traditional rsvp cards for some guests, as well as response tags for their tech-friendly invitees. The rsvp cards featured pink illustrations for the wedding events and a space to request a song for the reception.
We worked with Arielle & Michael to design invitations for their Gramercy Park Hotel wedding last year, using our Downtown design. They customized the design with fun illustrative touches like the L Train on the invitations, and a cocktail set for the Welcome Party card. The envelopes were lined with a vintage NYC map, featuring a cool monogram. And they topped it off with thank you cards, in the same style, for post-wedding note writing.
We work closely with all of our wedding clients to design invitations that will capture the spirit of their wedding day. We talk about style, color, type and imagery. We work on the stationery months before the event and because we are not "day-of" vendors, we're not present to see everything come together. It's such a treat for us when couples reach out after the dust settles to share photos with us. Here are some pictures of a wedding at the lovely Hayfield in the Catskill mountains.
We love this shot of these letterpressed menus at the table settings in this upscale barn. The dark blue ink color is a lovely complement to the gold and white accents, and clean wooden table.
Congratulations to Adrienne and Casey for their wedding this weekend! We love seeing our Roses design in print, with its subtle detailed flower illustrations. While the invitation followed our traditional design, we created a more playful design for the Welcome Dinner card. The combination of rich black ink and tinted embossing is beautiful, as always.
We are still thinking about these amazing invitations for a laid-back wedding at a pizzeria in Brooklyn. Ariane & Daniel had fun with their design, and wanted to highlight the venue, Roberta’s, with a cool pizza patterned envelope liner. The salmon pink color is beautiful on warm white paper, and was a fun color to mix up for our presses.
