Isn't this letterpress baby shower invitation the sweetest? Alyssa's family and friend's threw her a shower this summer and we love the design that they chose. The gentle giraffe looks sweetly down on the text, which is clean and easy to read. Navy blue was the perfect color, as it lends a sophistication to the invitation.

Brielle and William had a wonderful rooftop wedding here in New York City at the end of the summer. They held their ceremony at a beautiful church, with the sweetest name and history - The Church Around the Corner - and their reception at a great loft in Tribeca. They wanted their letterpress invitations to be somewhat formal and elegant with a few fun touches.

It's easy to see that they love the color blue, as they paired navy printing with some softer blue envelopes. The envelopes and rounded edges of the invitation soften the set as a whole.

Brielle immediately fell in love with this beautiful, vintage illustration of a ring being slipped onto a woman's finger. Nothing could be more appropriate for a wedding!

The bride and groom wanted to pay homage to their pet parakeet, and we thought this was a sweet and subtle way! The vintage illustration tops off the response card perfectly.

A few months ago, Joyce and Ben came to us to design and print their wedding invitations. We knew it was going to be a fun job, when their dog popped up to say hello during our meeting! Their wedding was held at a beautiful inn in upstate New York on the Hudson River called Buttermilk Falls.

They wanted a pop of bright color, so we paired a fluorescent blue with a more subdued charcoal ink. The colors contrast each other well, and break up the design in an interesting way. We also printed a custom envelope liner for them, featuring a road map of upstate New York, with their location resting just at the fold.

Joyce and Ben wanted to mix some fun illustrations of their beloved dog, Penny with a classic design, and we think the result is wonderful. They commissioned an artist to illustrate some scenes of Penny from one of their trips to Buttermilk Falls. We love the drawings of Penny, nose to nose with a llama, and hanging out with some chickens. It's fun, personal touches like these that make custom invitations worthwhile.

We love this modern baby announcement with a proud rooster on top. The combination of fonts, and the two shades of blue seemed perfect for a baby born in the midst of summer. The envelopes were lined in a matching colbalt blue paper, for a fun bit of color popping out. We had a lot of fun designing these baby announcements. And what a great name, too!

Emily and Julian are New York City residents, and held their wedding here this summer. They wanted their wedding invitations to pay homage to one of New York's most iconic landmarks, the Chrysler Building. We kept the design simple and printed it in one color, a charcoal gray, for a classic look, just like the Chrysler Building.

This art deco inspired skyscraper is truly a work of art, and looks just right on the top of this invitation. The gray letterpress printing shows off all the beautiful details of the building.

This beautiful wedding invitation is loosely based on our Pale Floral design, with a few updates. Fiona and Nicholas reached out to us from across the world to design some gorgeous letterpress invitations for their wedding in Sydney. They loved the idea of our Pale Floral design, but wanted a more formal invite with a cherry blossom motif. We printed the cherry blossoms and names in matte gold, with the supporting text in navy blue ink. We added a custom monogram in gold to top off this stunning wedding invitation.

We worked the cherry blossoms into a floral pattern for their response postcard. Not wanting it to be overwhelming, we printed it with a pale tint of gold. The effect is a soft, subtle detail that allows their names to take center stage.

The term bridal shower may have come from a party thrown during the Victorian age, where a hostess filled a parasol with gifts, and opened it over the bride's head "showering" her with presents. If true, we can only hope that those gifts were small and lightweight!

Now we like to use the opportunity to shower the couple with love, advice for married life, and gifts to start their new home together. We love when friends or family come to us to design a unique letterpress invitation. Its such a thoughtful thing to do and sets a nice tone for the event.

This bridal shower brunch was thrown by the sister of the bride in her home. She loved this image of a stately home, and wanted to keep things simple with rich, black ink. We added a bit of color with a soft, sage green as an accent on the house and the bride's name.

Wine tasting at a bridal shower sounds like such a treat! This invitation marries bright colors with a classic, somewhat formal design. The fluorescent pink ink looks so pretty when paired with silver.

We used our Forest Grove wedding invitation design as the basis for this couples shower invite, printing it in silver and bright coral ink. They held their event at a beautiful, outdoor club, so the trees were the perfect motif. It was fun to design a shower invitation for both the bride and groom to be, and we thought the additional card honoring all the hosts was very sweet.

What better place to get married in New York City, than in beautiful Central Park? We love that Christina and Jeremy chose this iconic New York landmark for their big day. They had a semi-formal affair, so they picked our Hanging Lanterns design for their letterpress invitations and reception stationery. Although the design is highlighted by an ornamental border and a flourished script font, they kept it simple by printing in one color: sea blue ink, which looks striking on bright white paper.

Along with their invitations, we designed and printed menus and programs for their reception. We also did a nice card with a thank you note and some details about the events of the day.

The bride had the idea to print a little "Advice for the Newlyweds" card to hand out at the reception. We thought that was a sweet touch, and a fun thing to do while resting your feet after dancing. Adding unique things to your wedding suite makes your event more memorable for all.
