Bright Confetti Dots Wedding Invite

February 19, 2016

We designed these letterpress wedding invitations for a photoshoot, and just love them. The confetti dots are printed in a sort of ikat pattern, in complementary colors and a modern type treatment. We can't decide if we like the design in shades of blue, or neon pink and peach more. Both versions are a fun and modern take on a wedding invitation, perfect for a couple having a casual summer event.

Feeling Blue

February 17, 2016

This winter weather has us feeling a little blue. These letterpress coasters are a good pick me up, though! We printed some of our favorite sea inspired coasters in bright blue ink for a beach wedding in the Hamptons. The octopus coaster is one of our favorites, so we love seeing it on press.

Peachy Keen Painted Edges

January 11, 2016

We love when a couple decides to punch things up a notch with brightly colored edgepainting. The peach colored edges look amazing with this simple and modern wedding invitation. The combination of persimmon and gray ink with peach is striking, yet soft.

Andrea and Julio chose a beautiful, wildflower patterned from Rifle Paper Co. to line their envelopes. With such a simple wedding invitation, it's nice to add fun elements like this floral liner, without being overwhelming. We love designing clean, uncomplicated wedding suites, as it allows the letterpress printing to really shine.

Brooklyn Wedding Invitations

November 6, 2015

We love working with couples from New York on their wedding invitations. It's always fun to see where they'll be holding their event, since we're often familiar with the venues. These letterpress wedding invitations are for a Brooklyn couple, who wanted to keep their design simple and clean. We added the subway car as a nod to their daily commute and a vintage new York map as an envelope liner. All the pieces were printed in a dark charcoal gray for a little twist on classic black.

A Formal San Francisco Wedding

October 23, 2015

We just love Virginia and Greg's San Francisco themed wedding invitations. We started with their letterpress printed Save the Dates in rich black and bright red ink. They wanted to pay homage to an iconic landmark, the Golden Gate Bridge, on top of the card. The combination of colors on warm white paper is striking. We even had a little fun with a cute streetcar on the envelopes!

They loved the design of the Save the Date, so we followed suit for the invitations. The Golden Gate Bridge topped this card in bright red, as well, with the elegant and simple text in black. An envelope liner, printed in silver, was just the right touch for the design. We found a vintage map of San Francisco that looked just right next to the invitation.

We love how Virginia and Greg's invitations turned out and we can't wait to do another city themed letterpress set!

The Little Church Around the Corner

September 21, 2015

Brielle and William had a wonderful rooftop wedding here in New York City at the end of the summer. They held their ceremony at a beautiful church, with the sweetest name and history - The Church Around the Corner - and their reception at a great loft in Tribeca. They wanted their letterpress invitations to be somewhat formal and elegant with a few fun touches.

It's easy to see that they love the color blue, as they paired navy printing with some softer blue envelopes. The envelopes and rounded edges of the invitation soften the set as a whole.

Brielle immediately fell in love with this beautiful, vintage illustration of a ring being slipped onto a woman's finger. Nothing could be more appropriate for a wedding!

The bride and groom wanted to pay homage to their pet parakeet, and we thought this was a sweet and subtle way! The vintage illustration tops off the response card perfectly.

NYC Wedding with a View

September 7, 2015

Emily and Julian are New York City residents, and held their wedding here this summer. They wanted their wedding invitations to pay homage to one of New York's most iconic landmarks, the Chrysler Building. We kept the design simple and printed it in one color, a charcoal gray, for a classic look, just like the Chrysler Building.

This art deco inspired skyscraper is truly a work of art, and looks just right on the top of this invitation. The gray letterpress printing shows off all the beautiful details of the building.

Unique Wedding Favors

July 28, 2015

We can't rave enough about the Food 52 website. We started working with them a few years to print their stationery and then collaborated with them to sell our coasters and gift tags.

The site has become our go to place for recipes for every meal and also the site we turn to for unique gifts. These porcelain berry bowls are perfect for this time of year.

We're really intrigued by this tea for cocktails set. The mixers are made in New York, and each bottle has recipes for refreshing, summer cocktails.
