Admittedly, this wedding didn't take place on July 4th. But the color scheme certainly seems appropriate for this holiday weekend! We printed this set for a May wedding last year and we adore the mix of elegance and informality.

The invitation itself maintains a more traditional look with the triple border and monogram. Meanwhile, the other pieces are a little more whimsical and feature some really lovely illustrations. We especially like how the motifs on the information card correspond to the RSVP card.

This summer, we have been printing a range of dual-language invitations. It's a fun challenge for us to lay these out and we have the added benefit of daydreaming about events on Greek islands, Italian hillsides and French chateaus!

This invitation includes text in both English and Greek. We aimed to have both sections of copy arranged similarly so that they mirror each other and there is plenty of space left on the design so that it doesn't look too "text-y".

The bride asked the extremely talented Roanne Adams from RoAndCo to design the custom monogram and we think it is so charming. The subtle olive branches refer to the Greek heritage of the bride and the location of the wedding.

This set of invitations is a customized version of one of our collection designs. We love how it looks in shades of navy and paler blue. This wedding took place on the coast of Maine so the waves, whales and seabirds are perfect illustrations.

We love all the pieces reference each other in terms of color, font and motifs but they equally stand alone as beautiful printed items.

We made the RSVP envelopes even more special by incorporating some sweet little bird illustrations around the address.

Just a quick blog post with a close-up of a gorgeous invitation. We really like how this design is both elegant and informal. The Strangelove font used for the couples' names keeps it from looking too stuffy and the blind embossed palm tree motif adds another subtly, tactile layer to the letterpress technique!

We just finished printing this wedding set for a lovely couple who are getting married in Italy. We're jealous: all that wonderful food, gorgeous views and la dolce vita!They decided to have the set printed in our matte gold ink: we love how this hue is the perfect blend of elegant and understated.

We love the little heart lockets and we also really like how the simple heart silhouette looks as a blind-embossed pressed image:

Without ink, it just highlights the quality of the impression.

We've been posting a few teasers of components of this set but now we are excited to reveal the full suite of items. We love how this couple has allowed Betsy Dunlap's stunning calligraphy to really take front and center attention. The whole invitation just feels like a beautiful illustration and is extremely elegant.

The rich indigo blue also helps to make this design pop.

And we've already waxed lyrical about the bespoke envelope liner that features an imprint of a crocodile!

Remember the beautiful Save the Date we printed that featured a ship in a bottle? Well, we recently finished printing the actual wedding invitation and other items. The bride and groom chose to continue with a nautical theme and selected a few more illustrations for their stationery.

Anyone who is familiar with our products will know that we have a soft spot for that whale illustration. And here, it just adds a touch of whimsy to the wedding invitation. We like the interplay between the border and the rest of the card too.

We love how all the pieces look piled up in the photo above. The nautical knot is another of our favorite motifs.

The contrast of deep navy on crisp white cardstock never fails to set our hearts aflutter. It's a classic look that allows the quality of the design and letterpress impression come to the forefront.

This set perfectly illustrates what we mean. It features a single ink color, simple border and repeated monogram and the overall effect is gorgeous.

A personalized monogram is a lovely way to bring some individuality to your invitation set. And you can then repeat the monogram on materials that we print for the ceremony and reception (such as programs, menus etc!)
