This invitation suite is charming and classic and we love the recurring wreath motif.
We designed the wreath to incorporate the monogram that features the initials of the couple's first names and it looks so pretty on the different pieces.
Here's the layout of the gift tag that can be affixed to favors:
And we even used the illustration as a pale, tinted blind embossed element on the RSVP cards:
Alongside our collection of in-house-designed business cards, we are always happy to print cards that are designed by other businesses and graphic artists. Lately, we have printed a variety of really lovely cards, each of which has it's own, unique charm.Brooklyn Herborium is a new store that sells holistic beauty products. We love how their card design references nature, plants and greenery:
Our Millstone is another new business; a bakery specializing in growing, milling and baking everything. Again, the card perfectly reflects the business through the use of illustration and color:
Finally, we love the simplicity of this last card that just features a name in a beautiful, cursive script. Sometimes the most uncluttered design can speak volumes when printed in letterpress:
We're looking forward to the launch of Najla; an online purveyor of lingerie that combines classic, elegant silhouettes and luxurious materials with expert artisanship.
Now that Spring is kinda, sorta on its way, we've designed a brand new set of notecards. Even if it's snowing outside the window of our studio, at least we can make it feel sunny and bright on our presses! We've designed a set of 20 cards, featuring four different designs, each in a pretty, pastel color.
The hot air balloon is in a dusty light blue, the chandelier is in a gorgeous pink, the giraffe is rich charcoal and the flower bouquet is printed in a beautiful sunflower yellow. Purchase a set here and bring some sunshine to anyone you send a note to!
Our customizable notecard designs are a really popular product; there's nothing nicer than having personal social stationery to send out thank you notes or quick greetings. We recently added a couple of new designs to the collection which focus on vintage styling. The first layout features the phrase "From the desk of..." and references 1950s stationery designs.
Here's a close up of the printing:
We also have a new design that includes both a name and home address. Once again, we've channeled a Mad Men-style concept with classic fonts and a subtle, yet elegant double underline:
You can also view all of our other designs right here.
Our wedding invitations range from intricate custom layouts with bespoke illustrations to the very simplest, classic text-based designs. We are passionate about printing invitations across this spectrum and part of the appeal of our work is that we can really try to translate the personality of the couples we work with onto their stationery.Emilie and Andrew opted for a beautiful, clean layout that let the fonts, color and letterpress impression shine through. And we are massive fans of how these came out:
As soon as we heard from Helene at Corneau et Filles and looked through the beautiful sarongs on her website, we were excited to work on printing hangtags and other goodies for her shop.
We've worked on notecards, hangtags and - our favorite - the "how to tie a Corneau et Filles Sarong" cards! Here's a detail of one of the pretty illustrations:
Helene sent us a photo of the sarong cards piled up ready to be attached to the product:
We love printing custom items for other small businesses: it's a pleasure to work with other creative people to design the perfect paper goods to complement their products!
We are lucky enough to work with some wonderful clients. One of the nicest elements of being a custom letterpress printshop is that there are times when we begin by printing Save the Date cards...then wedding invitations...then Thank You cards...and then baby announcements! Here are the announcements we printed for the second child of one of our most loyal customers:
She loved the banner design we have used on a few other pieces and the color palette of raspberry and orange is joyful and perfect to celebrate the arrival of a little girl.
Last summer we printed a gorgeous wedding suite in summer green and cool gray. These two colors look lovely and fresh together and the design was accentuated with blind embossed motifs printed in the palest of pale green tint.
