We've really loved collaborating with West Elm to design plates and platters this year. They've been so nice to work with and it's been fun to see our work on something other than paper. Our Spring Garden plates are now available in West Elm stores and on their website.
We're in love with tissue-lined envelopes right now! The delicate textures and bright colors add a really nice dimension to simple white envelopes. We're working on a new line of note cards to compliment the lined envelopes, because we can't just make and sell plain envelopes (or can we...?). Here are a couple photos of the designs we have at the moment. We're packing these as sets of 50 in our new deluxe gift boxes. We think the hearts cards or the tandem bike cards would make particularly nice Valentine's Day gifts!
Our studio is located in DUMBO (Down Under the Manhattan Bridge Overpass) neighborhood in Brooklyn, NY right under the Brooklyn Bridge and the Manhattan Bridge. During the 12 years we've been here, the neighborhood has gone from something out of a gangster movie "disposal" site to something more along the lines of SoHo.
Our studio filled with Victorian Era presses has been a steady mix of old cast iron machines, crisp white papers and bright inks. Add the smells of solvents and coffee and some NPR or old French music... and the photos below... and you can imagine a little slice of our days in the studio.

Our elegant Modern Garden invitation design gave guests a hint of the beautiful setting of the Atlanta Botanical Gardens for Katie and Matt's wedding. The invitation printed in sage set the tone for a beautiful Spring event.
